Each year the Hill Country Bloomers selects applicants from schools and non-profits to receive a grant.
Funding is intended for both new and expanded programs to benefit children and youth. The goal of the program is to provide education and appreciation for gardening and is funded by membership dues and plant sales
Our members and local growers are busy after the new year starting seeds for the spring sale. All our plants are grown organically and sourced to thrive in our area. We offer knowledge about each plant so you will be a success in your garden. Since we grow our own plants our prices are hard to beat!
The Hill Country Bloomers have Adapted a park! Several times a year the Bloomers volunteer for the Cedar Park Rec Center to clean up the Town Center park and eliminate invasive species.
Each month we collect, sort, and share seeds with the community for free through our seed library housed at the Leander Public Library. Just pick up our seed packs from the library, no card is needed. At the end of the season save your seeds and return a portion back to us and we pack and replenish the drawers
Join us on the tour and take an exclusive look at some of the best gardens in our area. Talk with the gardeners about their design and plant selections. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2024 Fall Garden Tour has been Canceled.
We plant and maintain the pollinator garden at the Veterans Memorial community garden. Volunteers are always welcome! Watch our calendar and FB group for announced work days. If you are interested in one of the garden plots, please contact the Cedar Park Rec Center
